US' HDG exports up in Oct m-o-m & y-o-y

According to the statistics from the United States Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported roughly 101,000 tons of hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) steel in October, increasing by 10.1% from a month ago and 1.8% from October last year. The export value was around US$120 million, compared to US$104 million in September and US$112 million in the same month a year ago.Among them, Canada as the main destination with about 57,000 tons, compared to 58,000 tons in the previous month and 60,000 tons in October 2018. Mexico was the second major destination with approximately 43,000 tons.
