Ministry of Commerce: steel price rose slightly last week

According to the Ministry of Commerce monitoring, last week (October 28 solstice November 3) the national means of production market prices fell 0.2 percent from the previous week, including steel prices rose slightly.

Coal prices fell slightly, with coking coal down 1.4%, anthracite coal down 1.1% and thermal coal down 0.9% to 768 yuan, 887 yuan and 583 yuan per ton, respectively.

Fertilizer prices fell slightly, with urea and NPK down 0.7% and 0.2%, respectively.

Rubber prices declined slightly, with natural rubber and synthetic rubber prices down 0.5% and 0.4%, respectively.

The price of basic chemical raw materials fluctuated slightly, among which the price of sulfuric acid and polypropylene decreased by 0.8% and 0.4% respectively, while the price of soda ash and methanol both increased by 0.4%.

Nonferrous metal prices fluctuated slightly, with zinc up 0.7%, copper down 0.1% and aluminum flat.

The steel price rose slightly, among which the price of rebar and high-speed wire was 3,970 yuan and 4,075 yuan per ton, up 0.2% and 0.1% respectively, and the price of channel steel was 4,067 yuan per ton, keeping stable.
